The Dakar Women's Group is a 100% volunteer, mainly English-speaking organisation representing women from over 50 different countries.
We are a registered, non-profit charitable organisation working in Seengal to improve the well-being of communities in and around Dakar by focusing on:

Entrepreneurship -
The DWG is run by the Executive Committee, a representation of all of the committees within Dakar Women’s Group.
All of the executive members are elected by volunteer members, including the President, who is elected yearly.
Collectively, the Executive Committee is a source of drive, enthusiasm and resourcefulness for volunteer members. They have the responsibility of developing policies and procedures for the organisation, deliver on what the members want and ensure that the overarching mission of DWG is fulfilled.

Dakar Women’s Group is a community of like-minded women located in and around Dakar.
To become a member all you need is to fill out the membership form here and pay the membership fee of 25,000 cfa (via cash, Orange Money or Wave to +221 781349023) and most importantly be willing to lend your diverse talents, skills, and life experiences.

The DWG hosts various events such as monthly networking events, committee meetings, as well as fun activities and classes which are a great way to make acquaintance of members.

Each DWG member is required to fulfil a minimum of 4 volunteer hours per club year.

DWG is always in need of support for the success of various fundraising events throughout the year. These events require a lot of resources as in funds, services and sometimes products.
All sponsorship funds and money raised from DWG’s events directly benefit our Grants recipients in and around Dakar.To support a fund-raising event or charity, please contact us at dwgexec@gmail.com.

The DWG selects approximately 60 artists per year to participate in the annual DWG Art Show. The application process is competitive and merit based.
