The Executive Committee represents every committee within the Dakar Women's Group — Events, Charity, Environment and Arts. All executive members are elected by volunteer members, including the President, who is elected yearly.

They develop the policies and procedures of the organisation, acknowledge members' needs, and make sure the overarching mission of DWG is fulfilled.
