Global Community, Local Commitment

We distribute essential funding to small community-based and grass-root projects focusing on education, women and children’s health, cultural development, entrepreneurship and raising awareness for a positive change. Over the last five years, the Dakar Women’s Group has provided over 120 million FCFA to local charitable projects.

To fund our support to local organizations, DWG organizes three flagship fundraising events throughout the year. Through these events, were are not only able to raise funds, we also support local artists and artisans. Alongside these public events a number of activities are offered to our membership.

Our main objective is to become part of the green solutions by increasing awareness of environmental issues within our membership and in our community.
