Following the recent demonstrations and the unsafe ambience, we the DWG have decided to CANCEL the last fundraising event, the Summer Fair scheduled for June 3, 2023 at ISD .

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience as a result of this decision, I know we were all looking forward to it, however, the safety of all our members and the public who support our events is paramount.

All vendors will be reimbursed for the tables. Please contact dwgbazaar@gmail.com for refunds. We ask for your patience in this regard.

P.S For those interested in becoming a member for the new calendar year 2024 – 2025, you’re welcome to attend the DWG Annual General Meeting at Boma on June 6, 2023.

J'espère que ce message vous trouvera en bonne santé et en sécurité. Suite aux récentes manifestations et à l'ambiance dangereuse, nous, le DWG, avons décidé d'ANNULER le dernier événement de collecte de fonds, le Summer Fair prévu pour le 3 juin 2023 à ISD.

Nous nous excusons sincèrement pour tout inconvénient à la suite de cette décision, je sais que nous l'attendions tous avec impatience, cependant, la sécurité de tous nos membres et du public qui soutiennent nos événements est primordiale.

ATTENTION VENDORS
Applications are now closed.

We have just sent out emails to our vendors that applied to our DWG Summer Fair.

We have a record number of applications (over 170) and unfortunately could only accept 80 vendors. We realise some people are disappointed and we have tried our best to get a great mix of vendors for the event.

We are limited in the amount of vendors we can accept by the location but most importantly by the amount of members/volunteers we have available to volunteer on the day to help out. As you can imagine a lot of work goes into these events and volunteers are needed to make it happen.

Thank you to everyone who applied, and we encourage you to apply next time.

Entry Fee

Entry is 2000 fcfa and 1000 cfca for those under 12 years of age. The fee can be paid in cash upon entry.
Calling all Artisans

Applications are now CLOSED
Bring Your Own

The DWG are committed to do our part to reduce plastic pollution and single use plastics. We will be providing water fill stations and ask that when visiting the Bazaar you bring your own water bottle(s).
What you'll find

Dakar is a filled will all sorts of amazing artisans. At the bazaar you will find them all in one place - art, sculptures, carvings, traditional, contemporary, clothes, fabrics, skin care, food, services, plants, and more.
Bring the kids

The bazaar will have a dedicated kids play area to let those kiddos let loose. There will also be children’s workshops.
Tombola

A Bazaar CLASSIC, everybody loves a good tombola. Tickets will be available throughout the day.
