3 easy steps to buy art
The Dakar Women’s Group hopes you will enjoy spending time perusing all the artwork in our online and in-person art show. There are 180 pieces of art and 40 artists to explore!
All of the artists are showcased on our “Meet the artists” page. You can then filter your search by artist, medium, and price point. Explore this virtual gallery and click on each piece for information on the selected work.
This year, we will open the show for IN-PERSON buying on Wednesday, April 6 at IFAN (Musée Théodore Monod) in Plateau, Dakar. On Thursday, April 7 at 10AM buying ONLINE will start.
Acknowledgment form
After clicking on the “add to cart” button, you will be taken to an acknowledgment pop-up page, where you will need to acknowledge the following:
Your transaction will be processed in euros.
DWG cannot ship artwork (it must be picked up locally in Dakar)
Provide your name and phone number in Dakar or the name and number of the person in Dakar who will pick up the art.
After registering your responses, your art piece will be added to your cart and you can proceed with the payment process or continue shopping.
2. Payment method
DWG only accepts Paypal payments online; however, we accept credit card payments in person.
We will open the show for IN-PERSON buying on Wednesday, April 6 at IFAN (Musée Théodore Monod) in Plateau, Dakar.

3. Delivery
No shipment, no problem! See our delivery options below:
Delivery in Dakar
The Sales Team will contact you to arrange a pickup location at the end of the show.
Please help us by filling in the “Local Contact Number” box during the checkout process so that we have more than one way to contact you.
Then your wait will be minimal before you can pick up your beautiful piece of art!
Delivery outside of Dakar
To make a purchase from outside Dakar, you are asked to make arrangements with a friend or contact in Dakar to take delivery of it.
At purchase, you will be prompted to inform us who your pick-up contact person is.
Then, with them, you will make your own plans to store and take possession of your artwork.
